We're visiting from Australia and stopped in Ventura for the night. Loved the Tavern! Such friendly people - there's also a really cute employee, Jordan... thank you very much Ventura!

The atmosphere is amazing, drinks watery, Ground Zero was awesome!
The Tavern is great! They have a pretty good Craft Beer Selection, Very Tasty Food, Fair Prices, and Live Music Fridays & Saturday, NO COVER CHARGE, good staff, CLEAN place as well.... try it!

From Seattle and spent New Years 2014 at the Tavern. Staff made me feel like I was hangin with friends. Had a laid back Seattle feel. Even drew a lousy picture of my motorcycle on their wall (which is a large blackboard) Best Bar New Years ever. Thanks to Curtis and crew.
nice place but staff has huge ego and need to check it because they aren't that great. it's Ventura not NYC
