Went for happy hour. Good cheap drinks and 1/2 price appetizers. We had a blast. Yeah, we'll probably go again. And its until 8pm...Nice
Honestly I wish I could rate with 0 stars. The reason is because these bouncers mistreat woman. I use to enjoy this place back when it was Candelight, but after witnessing what I did I was disgusted in their behavior. I will not entertain this, I will not go back. This place is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
This review is happening because of the bouncer. A friend from California brought me and my friend here tonight. My friend and i are from Pennsylvania. Upon trying to enter, my friend and, after 5+ minutes of scrutiny, were turned away. Both 21, her ID was declined because it was a "different color background" than my own PA license. We are both 21. But the bouncer said he "didn't feel comfortable" letting us in. This is ridiculous to me. We are both 21. We will not be returning.
Why don't you respond to your overwhelming customer feedback that your service sucks? You have a great place, events and games that draw people that you ultimately disappoint every day. It's pretty unanimous. Is the staff all hired thru nepotism?
Loved the atmosphere. Cool converted historic victorian house. Pool tables. Fire pit on the back deck. Bartenders were friendly. Good selection of local brews (Made West pale ale was good). And the best sliders I've ever had! Cool spot. Check it out!
The Manager is so RUDE! If he is the manager they will loose business! I have never been treated by anyone like the way he treated me and my 30 friends last night ! I will never go there again. The owners need to put him in check! Spent a lot of money there, he just lost ALL our business !!!
This classic tavern was welcoming and so much fun. I wish we had some thing like it at home. I had such a good time with my friends and family. I recommend The Tavern to any and all who love classic rock and classic fun.
Do not try and arrange an event there. Had guests show up and arranged it with the staff for drink coupons a month in advance, because I was paying up to a certain amount, and they weren't organized. They never handed out the coupons and all my guests paid their own which I was bummed about. They said because the coupons were for happy hour. When arranging it they never mentioned that I was in a time slot. Poor service and it's unfortunate. It's a nice location but they need to get their s*it together.
Yes it's a excellent place to meet great new people Friday's and Saturdays nights the best time to go
