It'd just a short, romantic stroll to Taughannock Falls State Park, featuring the tallest waterfall east of the Rockies. The hotel offers a wide selection of beautifully appointed rooms in the Main Inn, as well as three adjacent lakeside guest houses. We also offer a pet friendly option, and hiking trails just steps away. The restaurant is closed for the season, excepting a few special occasions and Holiday Events (see the Facebook page) but will reopen for Easter Dinner.

You simply can not beat this view in the finger lakes. Beautiful historic building, attentive wait staff, clean, professional, organized and the food is quite good. An excellent choice for your visiting out of town guests and locals too.
We visited from Syracuse with friends. We arrived early, enjoy some great beverages while we waited for our table. Great service and excellent food. Highly recommended for couples or a group.
The view was beautiful! The waitstaff and Bartender couldn't have nicer or more attentive. Dinner was exceptional.
Stopped in for lunch a few days ago with my friend and mom. We had the perfect table to enjoy the lake views. The menu selections were excellent. The Nantucket Clam Chowder was the best I've ever had tasted, lots of flavor and loaded with clams and potatoes plus other ingredients. We ordered the Crab Cakes as an appetizer. I have come to The Inn at Taughannock several times since it is under new management. If you like lamb, it is outstanding. But they have a variety of beautiful choices to choose from. Considering what the food was like before the new owners took over this is the difference between night and day. I am so excited to have a quality restaurant with such a beautiful view of the Lake. I'm really happy to have a place to bring all of my out of town guests that is so close to my home.
