Great service, friendly staff and delicious food!
Food was good, although over priced. The one star rating is for the horrible service. The host did not take our info for seating and gave a rude response when asked about doing so. We sat at the bar and for the 2 hours we were there, not once were we asked for our orders or checked in on. It seemed off-putting for the staff to be asked to do anything. Nothing about this place would warrant a return trip or another cent of my money.
I must agree...the food, bread, and pastries are truly excellent. However, the attitude of the staff and the service has been repeatedly disagreeable and unacceptable. It seems they are more concerned with their looks than serving the guest. Also, loud head banger music is not conducive to conversation or digesting. I guess the place is “too cool “ for me. Call me old fashioned. I’ll stop in to the original Tartine on 18th for some take out. The staff attitude there is almost as bad but I can bare it for the sake of a mornin... read more
The smoked salmon tartine breakfast dish and morning bun were delicious.
Was ok today but usually great ...
Good food. Nice ambience. Parking sucks though.
