Wedding Disaster After an excellent tasting at Tart and at many other Dallas bakeries, I chose Tart Bakery for my WEDDING cake. The cake that was delivered on our wedding day was NOT the cake from the tasting. It was not horrible, but very dry and disappointing. The biggest complaint that I have is that the delivery driver actually called ME on my wedding day to ask for directions! If there were any questions they should have been handled days before the wedding! It was literally an hour before I walked down the isle! He cou... read more

Tasty Tarts! Tart is a really nice bakery. It is family owned and the service is great the shop was very clean. They have every possible tart you can think of. The tarts were fresh and full of flavor. I brought some to take back home with me on the plane and everyone was wondering what that wonderful smell was. Very nice place.

Disappointing The cupcakes I ordered looked fantastic, the icing was nice, but the cake itself was a little dry. But the customer service deserves the most attention - well meaning but kind of clueless. I was at the Plano store, in the Shops at Legacy, and when I called to ask what side of Legacy they were on, the girl who answered the phone asked me where I was coming from, then when I gave her a street name, she gave me directions w/o asking which DIRECTION I was headed. Turning right if I am not headed north will take me ... read more

TART, literally I feel in love with TARTS decor. The cake was no good. With plans of ordering my 30th birthday cake from there, I decided to get my boyfriend a cakelet (a small cake which serves about 2). The cakelet was cute, the taste disgusting. The cake was DRY and the icing was horribly sweet. I am so glad I had a tasting before bc I would have been disappointed!

Wanted to use them but they never responded I wanted to possibly use Tart for my wedding since my fiance had gotten a wonderful red velvet cake from there for my birthday but TWO separate times they failed to respond to me with a quote - first for the wedding cake and then for the grooms cake. I called and emailed and finally got a quote for the wedding cake weeks after the fact. Never heard from them on the grooms cake and decided not to give them another chance. Not a good way to run a business.
