I love it here
The Tarheel has just received a major renovation with all of the modern conveniences and comforts! Boutique mattresses, custom painted antiques and professionally designed interiors. Close to the beach, fantastic restaurants and Outer Banks landmarks!
We enjoyed our stay so very much last spring! Tar Heels was a stopover on that trip, but the kids want it to be out destination next time!

Great motel, price is good so you don't have to spend a fortune to have a get away. The staff is fantastic and friendly. We have stayed here for years and they remember us, always make us welcome. Keep up the good work, don't change!!!
