Great place! Wonderful people! We enjoy every stay with them!
The rooms were very clean, short walk to the beach, nice pool but the best thing this place had going for it is the people that work there!
Best most reaxing stay that I have enjoyed in OBX. I have stayed in Corolla for over 15 years, but the Tar Heel was great. Very peaceful, clean, nice. The people operating the hotel were great. Pool and room perfect.

Great old fashioned kind of place. That will not cost you a fortune.
Basic room but very clean and comfortable. Great price since you also have stove , full size fridge, microwave and kitchen table included. Very close to beach as well as shopping and restaurants. Nice, friendly staff. Will definitely stay here again as well as recommend to friends and family.
