I truly enjoy the atmosphere and experience of being in Taqueria Amor, however my recent meal there has lowered my overall rating. The vibe is fun, high energy, and colorful. The waitstaff is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, though at one point we waited 15-20 minutes for simple drinks on a less than busy night. Unfortunately, the titular tacos fell quite short. Went here for Cinco di mayo crowded, packed to the celling not one empty table. They were turning out order after order quickly. I was impressed . Fried shrimp coming out the back in less then three min.hot and gold .great location on main street. Indoor and outdoor seating.
This is the whitest Mexican food I've ever had. I bit into it and immediately started wearing Polo shirts and playing golf on Sundays. Sometimes anglicized Mexican food is still pretty good, but the food here is mediocre at best, especially for the price. They only serve burritos on Mondays because why have staples when you can push a Korean BBQ broccoli taco instead.
