This exceedingly trendy Midtown Pan-Asian restaurant and lounge club features a dramatic bi-level space, complete with a giant Buddha statue, minimalist decor and interesting food. Tao is a fun, trendy place to sip cocktails and indulge in harmless people watching. The food will transport you to another world: the menu takes Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Thai dishes and adds a touch of New York. Standout entrées are Steak with Wasabi Sauce, plenty of sushi options and Peking Duck. You can also shop for eye-catching As... read more

Loved the restaurant. Our reservation was for 7 pm. We were seated in less than ten minutes. The waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Recommended some excellent choice dishes. Food was delicious, will definitely go again.
Very good food and atmosphere.
Tao is a fabulous venue with delicious food. I love the atmosphere and visit whenever I am in New York.
Took my bf out for his bday and had a 1015 reservation..yea we had to wait to be seated because it was busy but who cares it was so worth it after we were seated. The food was great and atmosphere was good also. Chilean sea bass melted in your mouth and duck was so good.
Absolutely stunning food X delish! Great staff, great Mojhito's
The Fillet Mignon, Peking Duck Rolls and Yes Onion Rings, were out of this World.
Had my birthday dinner here yesterday.. what a great place. Service and food was awesome!! Thanks for a memorable evening!
You come here for the ambiance, not the food. It's all about taking pictures of the big Buddha on the 2nd floor. Dinner was ok but you can't expect good Asian food at an upscale restaurant, that's why there's Chinatown.
We ordered something and she brought something else. We were hungry so we didn't tell her anything but $40 for 4 egg rolls that weren't fresh was too much
