Loved it!!!! My group had the pork potstickers and tuna tartar as starters and the mandarin rice with pork and pepper filet mignon. Beautifully plated and perfect cooking. Beef was so soft it almost melted in your mouth. We also had lychee martinis that were amazing. Being sister to a chef makes it harder to eat out---so this was just as amazing---!!!! The only downside was that our reservation was at 830 and we had to wait 30 minutes before our table was actually ready. So plan your reservation a bit earlier!

We visited the one in NYC! What an experience! The restaurant itself, the ambiance, the delicious food! I had the pork potstickers , the shanghai fried rice and the halibut, without the curry sauce. For dessert we had the sugar crusted mango rice pudding with passion fruit Sorbet. Everything was amazing and the portions served are good enough where you don't feel hungry afterwards but you're not too full where you feel like you need a nap afterwards. Food was so delicious... the sushi, coconut shrimp, filet mignon, and really delicious drinks. Crazy expensive but worth it! And great service too.
Have been coming here FOREVER! Came for my son's 17th birthday, because I told him he could pick ANY restaurant and he picked TAO! As always, the Chilean Sea Bass Sate was AMAZING! All else was as good as we expected. Our waiter was TOPS; not pushy and did not rush us!
