Good Food and Atmosphere I have dined out in all major cities of the world and stumbled upon Tanino's through invitation of a business partner.
Bad Food, Bad Service. Being a Chef with over twenty years experience, I am sometimes a little picky when it comes to dining out. But this restaurant is an insult to Italians and Italian food every where.
Terrible and overpriced! A con! This strip mall restaurant thinks its high-end Italian cuisine, but very poor service and "okay" meals doesn't compare to the ridiculous, overpriced wine-list. If you want to pay $22 dollars a glass (and not realizing that you are doing so until the bill comes) for a so-so wine, this is your dream restaurant! Forget Manhattan or LA, you can pay big city prices right here in the middle of Upstate. Customer service is non-existent, buyers beware!
What a treat! We love to go to Tanino's for dinner. The decor is beautiful, the wait staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and the food is wonderful. We have yet to have a bad meal here. My favorite is Chicken Scampi - make sure you order is over pasta - I did receive it plain once with pasta and red sauce on the side. You want the pasta under the scampi to get all the delicious sauce. My husband is quite fond of the veal dishes and the salads are great. I've enjoyed their pizza also.
Real Italian food! this place is amazing, it has the home made taste of italy at an affordable price. We are very picky on italian food and this place is a definate thumbs up!
