I hesitated to try this place because I haven’t had a whole lot of luck with Mexican food in Portland, but hot damn! Totally authentic and reasonably priced. I’m now officially a tamale girl.

I've been disappointed by some much hyped Portland restaurants since moving here. Tamale Boy however did not disappoint. Large portions, great prices and the most important, it's delicious. Highly recommend this spot.
Happy hour tacos were great..Chicken and Carnitas. Would have liked a hotter sauce option? Maybe some aardvark or anything Habenero..
