It doesn’t pick up when people are walking by my house. I have a baby monitor that does a better job at picking up signals when there’s movement.
Vivint has gone down hill since I got with them 8 years ago. I wouldn’t recommend this product for your home security.

System fails entirely too much I spend more time on the phone with them than I do my family. Then they want to blame any and everything for their system failures. I'll be getting a new service provider this week. My daughter sleeping on a porch is the last straw
Please if your are thinking in a home security systems , PLEASE reed this first I very disappointed with this company if we can call that. I’m customer for 10+ year and year by year customer services is worst, price increase without notice and you can’t get resolve any over charge issue or equipments mal function. The only thing that they want is sale you a new equipment or service.
