I traveled from Tomahawk, Wisconsin to Tallahassee, Florida to have both my elbows operated on. I didn't want to deal with all the Covid nonsense up north. Dr. Stevens and the staff followed all necessary procedures to keep everyone healthy and safe from illness within the rights of the patients. The staff was professional and kind. First of all, hire PAs that care and are competent. My coworker today was treated terribly by Hillary Joyner, PA. She should be embarrassed and ashamed of herself. First class at its finest when you the PA get rude due to a client asking for certain documentation that is absolutely, 100% warranted! Get off your high horse and start treating the person!!!! A little compassion and common sense go a long way!
I was a patient for 25+ years. Called to make an appointment for a simple routine prescription. The woman on the phone said I wouldn't need to and that I could walk in for it. So I did, only to be told by the staff that an appointment is required. Obviously it's a sign of severe lack of training and care. I get the feeling that because they are a medical practice and that there is little competition in the area, they feel like this excludes them from handling patient(customer) issues properly. Had fusion back surgery, which was done well. However, no post-surgery follow up in the hospital, cannot get anyone to return phone calls no matter the reason. Difficult to get appointment, wait times in the office are EXTREMELY LONG. Receptionists promise to pass info to the doctors, but they don't. PA's are NEVER at their desks when calls are transferred. Wait time is always very long, sometimes I have spent over an hour in the waiting before getting moved to the doctors office when I have an appointment. If you are going there for the first time it takes an extremely long time to get an appointment, unless you know somebody who works there. After surgery the check up appointments were hard for me to schedule and the doctors information was always very unclear. 2+ hour wait to see Dr Guyer today. The office staff say you are going to wait 45 min-2 hours to see him.
Dr. Jordan is fantastic!
Dr. Borom is a wonderful doctor. He truly cares about his patients. His P.A Joel is a nice guy also. The guys who put on your cast, Brent and T are extremely funny. They are hilarious!
