MY grandfather was taken to TMH by me for possible stroke like system and possible UTI. Student doctor came out to tell him it was probably due to cramps why he could not lift his right arm or leg. He had slurred speech, vomiting, weakness, chills, body aches, and memory issues. All new. They did admit him when I begged to speak with a doctor for the inability to care for my grandfather at home because he could not walk. I had back surgery on 2/3/20 at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare and I had to stay overnight. This is yet ANOTHER terrible experience on the 4th floor! Fresh out of surgery, not even 45 minutes, I get put in the room that I’m staying the night in. THEY PUT ME IN A DIRTY ROOM, had me use a DIRTY bathroom( dirty linens that obviously weren’t mine, all on the floor of the bathroom), there was a dirty bed pan in the room. Not only that, but my nurse told me to keep up with what time I need my meds, if I didn’t he wouldn’t give th... read more

excellent staff. couldn't as for better care
I had an appendectomy on New Years Eve, 12/31/19. Dr. Hunt preformed the surgery. I cannot say enough about the staff and Dr. Hunt. I had to stay over night. Gurlie was my night nurse and she was just as sweet as could be. Sage was the day nurse and just as sweet and attentive. Everyone I had dealings with at the ER on Thomasville Rd to the ambulance crew that transported me to the hospital to everyone on the surgical staff and team to everyone at the hospital. The best people around.
New building and still growing. Outpatient surgical building is nice. It’s Upgraded from what you would normally see. New furniture and paint does that. Really nice and comfortable.
