Traveler's paradise! – Wow! I spend most of my time traveling CA on business, but every time I come back to SLC, I make it a point to eat at Takashi at least once! Whoever recommended the Strawberry Fields roll is RIGHT! So amazing--could literally be for dessert. I also loved the Mexican roll. Chefs are extremely knowlegable and friendly. Love it!
Hands-down Best Sushi in Salt Lake – I have been to almost every sushi restaurant in the valley, and Takashi is inarguably the best. I would recommend sitting at the bar, where the friendly and prompt sushi chefs are very attentive. I have never had bad table service, but the bar is part of the experience in my opinion. My Favorite Sushi Place – I eat at Takashi at least every other week and am never dissapointed. The sushi really is the best in town and I'm continually amazed at the prices compared to other sushi places. It's less money for better sushi! My favorite rolls are the Strawberry Fields and the Yellow Submarine. Takashi was my first pick last weekend to celebrate my birthday!
So far from the ocean, yet so good – Chef Takashi is still on. went for dinner last night,(5 of us 2 adults , 3 kids) amazingly fresh, beautiful presentation, competent wait staff and a gracious, beautiful hostess. The black cod app was great as was the hawaiian amberjack sushi, and bonito sashimi with carmelized onions and a drizzle of something yummy(ponzu, w/ sesame?) add some cold imported sake and we a great night an expensive night, but well worth it
Best Nigiri in Town – After visiting Takashi's several times over the last few months, the restaurant has evolved to be my favorite sushi place in town. I am especially pleased by the great selection of nigiri sushi, which surpasses other restaurants in variety and consistenly excellent quality. Absolutly Fabulous!! – The best sushi around I can't get enough of their strawberry fields roll and the philly roll... The atmosphere is extremely upbeat and the servers are all real friendly. It's a great spot for sushi and drinks when I get off of work..

I was proven wrong! – I have changed my mind! I found my self at Shogun once again and it was superb. The manager that I had the bad experience with is no longer with the restaurant. The service, sushi, and sake were amazing. Shogun, you guys have proven me wrong! I will definitely be back!
