If this community college can not negotiate a contract with its employees in two years,what kind of example could it be setting for its students.Shame on you.
As a community member and taxpayer, I urge President Transue and the TCC administration to do the right thing and negotiate a fair contract with TCC's student service employees. The work they do is valuable and they deserve respect. Two years of stalling is long enough. If there are any Ethics classes being taught at TCC, perhaps the administration should attend! This behavior is inexcusable.
Good schools require good staff. Good staff require good pay and good working conditions. It's high time that Tacoma Community College recognized the importance of their staff by negotiating with them for a fair contract.
Fair Contract NOW! As a member of the community and a taxpayer, I urge the president of TCC to bargain a fair contract with the TCC student services employees. It is important to me and important to our community.
