How in the hell does a taco restaurant run out of beef! Blacked balled!!
I went through the drive-thru yesterday morning around 10:45. The soft taco I ordered came with a flour tortilla that was hard in places and when I ordered pico de gallo to be added on to my taco, I was charged a dollar for a miniscule amount. The mexi fries were cold, not even lukewarm. if I'm going to pay almost $13 for one soft taco and a mini meal I would expect the food to be at minimum warm. I really dont want to leave a negative review, because Taco TIme is literally the only fast food I eat, however I was in last night around 8:15pm and was very dissapointed in my service. I ordered a beef taco salad with extra meet/cheese, and side of guac, no chips, the salad i received did not have the extras and came with chips. When I pulled up to the drive thru, I was told she'd be right with me. I waited for about 2 minutes before she acknowledged me again. After I ordered and got to the window, I did have to pull forward until my order was ready (I had to have the sweet potato tots!). When the brought me my order, I checked it as the last few visits, they had been forgetting my sauces. Sure enough, they had forgotten my ranch. Parked, went inside, and got my ranch. Did not see if this was a TTNW location as they differ menu wise from the Taco Time I am used to. My GF had to have a Veggie Taco in place of her normal Veggie Burrito and it was terrible. Ranch dressing was so thick it drown out all the flavors and the pumpkin seeds were mushy. I had the classic Burrito and asked for no guacamole and I could see how it was removed after being added. My boyfriend just had a crisp burrito from Taco Time and there was a giant piece of plastic inside the burrito that he almost choked on. We spoke to the manager of Taco Time and she informed us that they are pre packaged and sent to them. How does Taco Time ensure quality control? This is unacceptable and could have resulted much much worse than it did. I come from the corporate restaurant industry and nothing like this ever happened.
I just went to the one in Wenatchee, the food is good but they screwed up my order twice at the register. Gave me the wrong amount of cups, which I only had 3. And when they had me my order it only had Mexi fries in it and one crispy burrito although I had also ordered two beef burritos. When I express my concern the staff member was extremely rude at me. I will never be going back to Taco Time in Wenatchee or East Wenatchee. The months of anticipation just turned out to be a disappointment
I was sitting in Taco Time in East Wenatchee having lunch today when a WWII vet came in. As I sat there eating and thinking about his service to our nation I could the cashier talking to him. "Your meal is on us, there's no need to pay sir." Then employees came from the back to shake his hand and tell him thank you. Thank you East Wenatchee Taco Time for recognizing and honoring our vets. This made my day and I have no doubt that you made his as well!
