I'm in the neighborhood and I heard the owner has elitist views against other ethnic minorities. Also, they dont respect legal campaigning. Not about to spend my money at some place like this.
They threatened to call the police on a person of color for distributing campaign literature on a public sidewalk. Boycott this racist establishment
When did Swork become such an uncomfortable spot to spend time in? I've been a customer for a while but have been away for several months. There are so few electrical outlets by the tables now. Most of the outlets are on the small tables against the wall and every one of those chairs are broken, wobbling the entire time you sit on them--just doing it for 15 minutes hurt my back (didn't these used to have backs to them?). I grew up in eagle rock and was super excited when swork opened. I moved to seattle about 2003 and coffee there was a amazing. When I would come back to visit I would go to swork but the coffee just didn't compare to seattle. It took a few years but goddam swork! You've seriously stepped up your espresso game, I've been here 2 days in a row and it's been great!
Just stopped by for some caffeine and pastries. Very well done and funky vibe. Definitely not a chain coffee shop �
Very pleasant experience! The cashier & barista were very friendly and my macchiato was strong & delicious.
Relaxed atmosphere, plenty of room, lots of wood. Easy to get to - at the southeast corner of Colorado and Eagle Rock. My double espresso was good.
I look forward to my Swork and today is the day!!! Awesome staff and great Owners. Come get your coffee on!!!
Supporting local coffee shops...the ladies in the morning are awesome! Love coming here and their green tea is great too :)
