On a busy Sunday we pushed our way to the back of the Pier and found lovely patio dining with great food and no wait. I had the crab enchiladas, which were flavorful without being too salty or too "Tex Mex". Pretty good service as well.
My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary. He had the Chicken Parmigiano and I the Lasagna. The view was amazing! You can see the Alcatraz, Sea lions, and water.
Service was fantastic! Our waiter Norman was so attentive and made us feel very welcome. The food and drinks were delicious! The Christmas decor and the view out the windows were beautiful. Great place for a romantic evening.
Excellent food served in a timely manner with attentive servers. On top of that there is an excellent view of the bay from almost every seat. My family all ordered seafood dishes with which we were more than satisfied. The house wine was good for the price (and quite a large carafe as well!). Would recommend to anyone looking for something a little more upscale at Pier 39.
The prices were not abnormally high. The folks in my party thought the portion were relatively large. We had to take home a third of the huge lasagna, and I remember remarking to the waiter - after finishing most of the lasagna, and my share of the cheesecake - that I owed my cardiologist an apology.
What can I say about this place? Amazing Italian food, gorgeous ocean view, kind and friendly waiter. I wish I had gotten his name, but whoever you are, you rock! Customer service levels were on point. Fancy yet casual place. You can have wine tastings (I think), there were a bunch of elderly people with different wines on their table. The Cioppino soup is amazing We came from Australia in April, still crave it now!
Great food and views of the bay and sea lions. Great spot!
