We had put our name in at another ace in pier 39 that had a 30+ min wait! We the found Swiss Louis and they had a table. Lucky for us because the food was very good and price was competitive. We had mixed green salads, clam chowder and fish and chips. Clam chowder was better than other places we ate at in SF. Fish and chips were as good as I have had anywhere. View off pier 39 of the sea lions was great!!! Try it, I think you will like it!
Went there on a busy Saturday & were seated within 15 min. The view is of the city, the bay with all of the boats, sea lions, etc & was gorgeous. Tracy was our server & was very sweet and attentive. We had 2 cocktails which were tasty. We had the half baked crab, the pesto linguine with salmon plus garlic bread for an appetizer. The bill (with taxes) was $93, a bit pricey, but considering the location, is pretty fair. We will come back again.
The service is very good, warm busy atmosphere and a great menu. We had the Calamari-good, the crab enchiladas,Chicken Parmesan very good!,and the sausage Italian sandwich with also good. The prices are reasonable,especially considering its in a high tourist area.
Omg this view! Can not beat it. And the garlic Dungeness crab is to die for! We sat at the bar during happy hour, fabulous bartenders and decent happy hour drinks.
me and my girlfriend wandered in and sat at the bar. drinks were good and the cioppino was wonderful !! the oysters were top notch as well. and yes the chowder was good. frank made us feel welcome so we went on a rocket boat ride and went back after and ate more !! what a great day we had !!
