Walked in without a reservation and they were able to find us a table overlooking the pier pretty quickly. Service was great and the linguine pesto was to awesome!

I came here with a family, it was 7 of us. It was cold and breezy outside, and warm and cozy inside of this restaurant. Waiters were friendly and efficient. Food was good too. We were pleasantly surprised because pier 39 does not have a good reputation as it comes to food, it being in the touristy and crowded area . When we first arrive to the restaurant the hostess was very kind with us and he made us fell very welcome, we only wait 5 minutes and because of the COVID-19 everything is fine we feel comfortable with all the sanitizing and social distancing protocols, the food and the drinks were excellent, we order a fruta di mare spaghetti and it was very good we enjoy it very much, is very good located, the view it’s amazing, also the waiter make us feel very welcome and he give us a very good service, we have a wonderful time I recomme... read more
Food was amazing! The service here is really good as well. Our server Kiyoshi was absolutely amazing and pleasant. Totally recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Pier 39!
Located on Pier 39. Open during Covid-19, outdoor seating. Went yesterday (a Saturday). We waited less than 5 minutes for a table despite being busy. Our waiter was great. He always made sure we had everything we needed. We ordered some nicely served margaritas. The garlic bread was bomb, as well as the calamari. I’m italian and everytime I’ve eaten italian food in America it was a horrible experience. This time I tried to give it a try and I was not disappointed. The calamari fritti were good but the linguine with clams were almost as good as the ones I had in italy. Worth it.
We enjoyed our late lunch yesterday at Swiss Louis Restaurant on Pier 39 in San Francisco. The salad, entree and desert were very good. Our waiter, Norman was outstanding. He was pleasant, professional and went out of his way to take care of us. Norman made the experience for us.
Came here when I was at Pier 39 with a friend of mine in 2018. It was beautifully decorated with Christmas stuff and garland inside with lovely holiday music playing. Very warm and welcoming from the moment I stepped in. Staff was friendly and we were seated by a window with a nice view of the water. I had ordered what I thought was a hot chocolate but instead got some kind of alcoholic chocolate beverage that I had to choke down. No big deal and was kind of funny.
