RecommendedWhat a talented and professional bakery. I contacted them a week before my daughter’s graduation from ISU (Animal Science major) and they still fit me into their busy schedule. The cake was exactly what I wanted and it was delicious! We had many of our guests make comments on how good the cake tasted and took pictures of it. I highly recommend them and will be a return customer for sure. Thank you!
The actual design on the cake was okay. The cookies were under cooked and so sweet that not even a group of 6 year olds could eat them. When we ordered we asked for frosting under the fondant and we didn’t receive any. There was even fondant between the 2 layers of cake which I’ve never seen before. Unfortunately I spent almost $200 on a cake and 2 dozen cookies to throw it all away. I ordered a cake for a baby shower. I got strawberry and it tasted pretty good, but was $50 for a cake approximately 10x12. I was expecting larger for that price. I asked for one the size to feed 25, and it did, but each piece was like 1x2". The writing on the cake didn't look very professional and was so close to the edge, it was hard to read. The place is also difficult to find. I had to ask 2 different people before I found it.
They did a great job on the decorations the cakes looked awesome. We ordered two cakes for our kids birthdays. One gluten free dairy free and one regular. However, both cakes were horribly dry and everyone commented on it. The regular cake was just as dry as the gluten free cake. We ended up throwing away half of each cake and people took the back up cupcakes from hyvee and ate those. Very disappointed 😕

Got a cake for my mom. Was nice so placed an order for my bday cake in week advanced. Sent them the picture KC Chiefs design, they said they could do it and get it done in time for my bday 🎂 Came in. They said it’s not done because the decorator didn’t look up the design. Bad excuse..🙁Next time just lmk before hand instead of having me drive all the way to Ankeny.
We loved their cupcakes at the tasting, so we ordered 6-9" cakes for our son's wedding at a cost of $720.00. We were very dissapointed because the guests all commented that the cakes were dry and tasted like they had been frozen. We were hoping for something extra special for their wedding day given this bakery's reviews and the price, but instead these cakes were an embarassment.
Ordered a last minute cake for my dads birthday. They are so nice and friendly. Cake was absolutely delicious and everyone talked about how good it was. Will definitely order all cakes from here!!
I sent in two different pictures, one for my daughters smash cake and a sheet cake for her 1st birthday. The cake was exactly what was pictured and was one of the best tasting cakes I’ve ever had. Highly recommend it
