Always loved the mornings there, even if I have to wait....

The service is great and the food is excellent. I highly recommend the cinnamon roll pancakes and Monterrey fries. The 18th street scramble is VERY delicious as well. My only issue is that it is rather small and gets crowded fast. Nevertheless the food is definitely worth the wait.
Had the lemon poppy seed pancakes with the lemon glaze. Pure joy for my taste buds

The only possible criticism I have is the maple syrup served in plastic containers. Everything else is top-shelf.
Delicious food and a friendly staff! The atmosphere is warm and inviting. By far my favorite breakfast/brunch place in Chicago.
