The two young men did an excellent cleaning job, but apparently they were not aware that dryer exhaust is very hot when running empty and warned me to have the dryer serviced before using. I did some research to find acceptable temperature ranges. A dryer exhaust will be hot to the touch if running empty. When dryer is full of a wet load of clothes that absorb the heat, the mylar connection hose is only warm to the touch. The next time I used my dryer, I found that my research was accurate and dryer is running just fine.
