I went to the ED yesterday and it's the worst experience I've ever had at a hospital. I've been to many ER's in the area and it was by far the filthiest and most disorganized place I've ever been. I had to wait 9 hours to get an x-ray and CT scan and then they just sent me home. The communication was terrible I had to use the nurse call button every couple hours to be sure they didn't forget about me. We never recommend it.
Had excellent care from all the nurses and doctors.
It was my first time to Swedish ER, and literally everyone, from security to the x-ray technicians to the nurses, intake admin and doctors, was so amazing, caring and very helpful. I had a fractured bone in my wrist and the team working with me was able to get me in and out, making my visit only about an hour. It helped that ALL of the nurses I had were nice to look at too. (: Thank you for making the process of a broken bone easier than normal, and keeping a smile on my face even as I was leaving.
The staff seem VERY attentive and concerned for the patients feelings and condition. Room in the burn center was very nice and seemed to be up to date on technology.
Everyone is very nice and very helpful, great hospital and staff.
I was supposed to get my infusion in the infusion center. They decided to close on Friday instead . Some went to class , some took the day off. But bottom line no one called me to move my infusion . So I got up at 6 am to get to my appointment, lol and behold no one is there! Now I don't know how many of you have bowel issues but this is very hard for me to get out of the house this early . I have had back surgery done at Swedish back in 2002 and received the finest care I can conceive. Just recently I had a heart attack and was sent to Swedish. I ididnt think their care could get better and was astounded to experience the level of PERSONAL interaction and care by all the people I can into contact with during my stay. With 10 stars being excellent I would rate them at 40 stars. I ws astounded at the service and friendliness of the staff. Cant say enough good about them.
This is the only place in Colorado I will put my life and my loved ones life. They are incredible
Had to take my husband in for abdominal pain, late one night. The ER Drs and nurses were amazing! They figured out what was wrong with him (Appendicitis), and got him into emergency surgery immediately. The surgeons and the anesthesiologist were also amazing and nice. They took such good care of him and made sure I was okay. Also, the nurses that took care of him after the surgery, on the 10th floor, were also amazing. I have never seen such nice and caring people in a hospital!!! Thank you so much for everything!!!
