Brought my husband to Belmar ER for food poisoning and he was admitted. The staff just asked how my baby was doing and we both agreed she was fine. The nurse did give her a 1/2 anti-nausea pill...Belmar ER billed $2000 for my baby alone 2 weeks later
I have worked there as a nurse for 35 years and still love the staff and the care that is delivered!
The sheer unprofessionalism of this facility makes wonder is Swedish a safe place for any person? My mother had to have her knee replacement removed last week due to a staph infection. We knew that this would mean long term antibiotics some therapy to learn to walk with only the spacer in her knee and a brace. The ER staff is amazing.. I was expecting to be there for hours.. my daughter was very sick with a fever. As soon as we walked in they had her in a room within 5 mins. The doctor was in the room before we sat down. He ran two test and we were on our way with in an hour! The lovely lady from registration was so nice and helpful.. she even went and got my daughter a warm blanket. (Yolanda) but with an E.. from beginning to end it was a great experience.. doctor was great, her nurse was great, respiratory was great! Thank you!
Horrible hospital terrible care my mother nearly died last night there. Her Kaiser doctor was unprofessional did not listen to us when we told him my mom was have increased resp effort. I put the nurse call light when she developed headache feeling hot no one came I until my mom o2sats went to 58 and procedured to go to anaphaltic shock. Cardiac arrest. The ER doc Dr Winkler and Shelia RN were excellent. Myself brother and I feel that if we weren't there would have died.
I was in for stomach surgery. with Dr. Nandi, the greatest gi doctor on earth., and then went to the eighth floor and was treated like a princess. not even once did I have to ring for a nurse. they were all ways there for anything I needed. very caring everyone was just so nice. and I just want to say thank you, you are the best!
How do I file a complaint? This is one of thee worst ERs I have ever been to!! I would not recommend this hospital to anyone!!
Amazing staff you all have. From start to finish I was constantly taken care of and made sure that everything was going fine. From Med Tech to Physician, everyone did an outstanding job in everything they do since my stay there. Even though I met so many different people, it was good to know that if it was not the same John/Jane Doe coming in to see me, they knew exactly what was going on and made sure I was ok.
