I had such a positive experience when I had surgery on my elbow at Swedish Medical Center. The team of nurses were excellent! They were so caring and very efficient. The entire staff made me feel less anxious and confident. The surgery was a success from start to finish!
My nephew (a young man of 30) was treated like a disposable nuisance. Being paraplegic does not mean you don’t feel the effects of poor nursing care. Quite the opposite. When he complained of laying on straight metal due to faulty equipment he was punished by having his wife and 2 year old son told they couldn’t be there to visit because the child is too young. Saved my life...very greatful for the team of doctors and surgeons and nurses that are here to help me recover
I came from out of state to take care of my daughter, who had surgery at Swedish. She was released, & re-admitted to 5th floor Robotics. I can't say enough about all the nurses on that floor, & in the ER. She received wonderful care from all. We were greeted by a smile from everyone we encountered. Thank you all!

Excellent care by nurse Kelly B. 5th floor Robotics! She is an excellent nurse, she went over and above all others! she showed great compassion and great care during my sons recent hospitalization in 5th floor 5139 ZE.
