Excellent! – Very tasty indeed. However, get there early and you may be trapped in the small gravel parking lot by other motorists. Get there late and you may not get a spot without blocking someone else in. The gouda grilled cheese is excellent for a quick bite. Everything that I've had there is above average. Service is average. As for the signage mentioned by another reviewer - get over it. I don't care what the front sign says if the food is good...

Park by the woodpile, check your 'cue credentials at the door and let this friendly nouveau smokehouse charm you. – The Scene The look and feel of a serious barbecue shack find: gravel parking lot, broad-planked wraparound porch, massive red-brick smoker and plenty of friendly "how y'all doing" servers bearing towering plates straight from butcher block to table. A unique place to enjoy great barbeque. You don't go away hungry. The dessert menu could be expanded...if you have room!
Incredible – Starve yourself for a couple of days, then go and order the chopped pork platter, get yourself a side of Mac & Cheese & another of beans, be sure to order the biscuits. Mix the regular and the hot sauces on the pork!!! Then, order the best bananna desert in the world. If you can finish it, you were hungry!
Not worth it. – This place does not prepare meals to order; they're just ready-slopped on a plate within seconds of your request. Worst fried green tomatoes I've ever had. The sauces are pretty good, though.
The place to be – Loved the sign outside. You have to keep it up, do not listen to anyone who tells you otherwise. Food was awesome, the service was great.
this is great – this is the best food you will find anywhere around northern georgia. all the dishes are great and the helpings are generous. You will not regret this trip!
