EXCELLENT barbecue! This place has great barbecue, and they make everything right there, including their bread! It's awesome, from the turkey to the pork. It looks like a shack, but that's part of the style - it's definitely pricier than a roadside BBQ stand, but still definitely affordable, and for the portions you get, it's a great deal. The kids' meals are more expensive than anywhere else I've been - about $6, if I remember right - but they are HUGE and are easily two meals for a child. GREAT FOOD Food was so delicious! They BBQ is so good, but what I really liked is the Smoked Portabello Mushroom sandwich. YUMMY! I'm drooling just thinking about it. The portions are huge, but the food is a little pricey. I think it's worth every penny though. The atmosphere is really nice and laid back. Swallow At The Hollow Good is delicious, quick, and homemade. Music is wonderful but be prepared to be turned away on Friday or Saturday nights if you haven't already purchased tickets, and you MUST purchase tickets. Family Style... all around a great time for down home BBQ
Swallow At The Hollow is worth the wait Swallow at the Hollow is an interesting place. The barbecue is good and the entertainment is excellent. Portions are enormous. A great place to bring the kids for dinner and music.
Awesome, awesome, awesome food! Loved it! From the hideaway spot to the decor and the food - it's the best I've had in a long time. The food is awesome (have I said that yet?), and the service is great. Don't dress up in your Sunday best because if you're trying to do the food justice, you'll get a little messy depending on what you order. It's worth a visit - especially if you enjoy a good rack of ribs.
Nous y avons diné en janvier ou février 2005. Ai gardé un excellent souvenir des ribs et du groupe de country qui animait la soirée. Si un jour je devais retourner à Atlanta je ferai un petit tour par cette vieille grange tout droit sortie d'un Lucky Luck !

Bad Barbeque! – Eating here was the worst decision ever! The staff was slow, rude, and very unclean. My waitress had barbeque sauce all over her and smelled like pot. I asked the waitress if the entrée salad comes with a side item, and she gave me an annoyed glance, rubbed her nose (that touches everyone’s drink glass she serves), and walked away!
