This is an exceptional practice of two truly caring and brilliant doctors that I trust completely with my dogs. The day they stop practicing is the day I stop becoming a pet owner.
We have had our 2 dogs at this vet and have never had anything but a wonderful experience!! 1 of our dogs has been going there for 16 years and recently passed away due to old age and our other dog has been going there for almost 6 years now and we would never dream of ever going anywhere else the whole staff at Pet's Friend is absolutely amazing and genuinely care about the well-being of our "fur babies"!

We have taken our many pet dogs to A Pet's Friend for over 20 years. Dr. Walsh's care and Dr. Breitwieser's care has been exceptional! For example, when we were out-of-state, our elderly Yorkie, Ellie, had to be taken to the dog ER in Sarasota one Saturday night with respiratory problems. We have been with A Pets Friend Animal Hospital for over 12 years for two dogs and two cats. The care and compassion from Doctor Walsh and Dr. Breitwieser has always been the BEST. Dr. Walsh and Dr, Breitwieser have been my vet for nearly 23 years. They are dedicated, knowledgeable, generous, compassionate and caring. Dr B and Dr Walsh have treated my dogs for many years. I have never had the experience of such caring vets prior to A Pets Friend. They are truly the best in Venice. I have recommended them many friends. There is a reason that they can no longer accept new patients. They are great!!!
Dr. Breitweiser and Dr Walsh are the best vets in the area. I've been here since 1971 and have been to 7 different vets in the area.
