Pretty good sushi, but exceptionally good staff. Dude at the counter was sooo friendly and courteous.
This place is incredible. Unbelievably, it tops all of the fancy dine in sushi restaurants that I've eaten at over the years. I'd consider moving to Halifax for the firecracker rolls, quite honestly. The food tastes extremely fresh and flavourful, and the staff are friendly. This place is a hidden gem, so glad we decided to check it out.
My wife and I have been eating sushi at various cities we've travelled to over the past 15 years. Do not be deterred due to the location being in the mall, this is the best sushi we've ever had! Everything was so fresh, pricing was amazing for the portions, and the staff were welcoming and friendly. In the future, we will be going out of our way to eat here again when in the area!
Sushi Square is the best place to go for an authentic Japanese sushi experience, without going to Japan. I’ve been to Japan quite a few times, as my mom is Japanese, and the sushi here is at the same quality level as I’ve experienced in Japan. I’ve tried quite a few of their sushi rolls at Sushi Square, as well as their Udon Noodle Soups and their Rice Bowls and believe me when is say that their food was fresh, delicious, and absolutely amazing!
