One of the best places I’ve had sushi, and I’m not exaggerating. Everything tastes fresh and clean, with no unpleasant smell or anything that makes you question the quality or freshness of the ingredients. I usually get the avocado sushi -I can never remember the exact name-, but it’s really good. Their chicken bowl is also delicious. Definitely worth a visit.
We came here for poke bowls a week ago, and we've been craving them ever since! The fish was fresh, and the bowl was generously loaded with a variety of ingredients and delicious flavours. Definitely will be back.
experienced a severe coughing fit while at the restaurant and asked an employee for water. I was told only bottled water was available, and I didn’t receive assistance while I was visibly distressed. I found the interaction lacking in compassion and customer service, and it left me very disappointed. I felt racially profiled. The employee was as cold as the sushi kept in the fridge. Please train your employees better and don’t be racist.
Every Monday, I look forward to my VIA Rail trip to Ottawa because it means I get to have my little picnic from Sushi Shop! Seeing Megan and Bruce is always part of the experience, and I love choosing between the delicious Salmon Poke Bowl, the Salmon Lover’s Combo, or another yummy dish, always with a comforting miso soup. The food is consistently fresh, generous, and delicious, and yet it’s the warm, welcoming service that keeps me coming back week after week. Thank you for making Mondays something to look forward to!
Super delicious! I got the salmon poke bowl and it was a great portion for a good price. Staff was also super friendly and sweet.
