Owner Takashi Soda opened SushiSake in 1997. New customers consistently join longtime clientele in visiting this superb sushi bar. Mr. Soda's meal preparation approach is assertive, and a host of chefs behind the counter reflect his attitude. This stunning spot draws North Dallas nightlife with its traditional Japanese ambiance. House specialties are Toro, Broiled Eel and Spicy Tuna Roll. As the name implies, sake is very important at Sushisake. Premium sakes are always featured items. A full bar is also available.

Nice atmosphere. Friendly Sushi Chefs. If you are newbie you can sit at the bar while the chefs prepare your meal. There provide alternative cooked meals if you prefer your fish cooked.
Top notch sushi as always. Not sure if it is still run by Japanese folks though, as many of the staff was Chinese.
