2nd Fiddle to Waraji – Great service. Wide selection. Good sushi but, everything it serves, Waraji does better. It's a far cry short of Waraji, but better than the rest of the triangle's sushi.
Inexcusably Rude – Sushi Blues seems to pride itself on horrible service. During my second and last visit there we waited a half hour for a table only to watch two couples who arrived after us be seated before us. Once we got a table we were completely ignored for an additional half hour, without drinks, without any kind of acknowledgement of our existance. RUDE Wait Staff – I will never go back. The waiter was rude; the management did not care. The best food in the world isn't worth that.
Superb! – Great ambience, great food, great hosts ... am I missing something? Oh yes ... great supporters of soccer!
Catch of the Day – I think that Sushi Blues is what Raleigh has been waiting for. Most places around downtown close too early and does not cater to late-nighters. In addition to catering to late-nighters, the food is good. I have been there many times and the food has always been consistent. There has been some times where the service was not good, but most of the time it is OK. I still go and recommend it to others.
These People Are Crazy! – Whoever is giving Sushi Blues a bad rating is crazy! I eat there all the time and have never had bad sushi or service. Yes, if you go, plan to make it an evening because it may take a while. But what's the rush for anyways? Go out, relax, and enjoy your meal! Go to Sushi Blues! It is great!
