I am confident and comfortable using Dr. McClain as my provider to take care of any issues that would require her specialized assistance to improve any "dermalogical" conditions in my future. I went to Dr. McClain after trying several dermatologists in the North Hills for various issues over a number of years. She is the only one who listened carefully to my symptoms and spent time with me to determine potential causes, and she was thorough in making sure that she had as much information from me as possible. The results were great - my issue is gone. My prior doctor had tried to sell me her private brand of medicine. I was so relieved to finally find a great dermatologist!

I saw Dr McClain for a yearly dermatology body scan & she dealt with additional issues that were detected during that check up. She did further research on her own time, gave me options and did 2 follow up calls. Her style is professional, thorough and yet her concern was immediate and follow-up personal. Couldn't ask for more.

Dr. McClain is very good at forming relationships with her patients, assuring them through her positive and cheerful personality, of her interest in helping to make/keep them healthy. Her medical skills are excellent as she is quick to recognize and diagnose dermatological issues. Dr. McClain treats her patients, regardless of age, with much respect. Her follow-up with her patients was more than I expected and very encouraging.

I went to her for my enlarged pores and acne. Instarted to develop acne on my back which I have NEVER had so I was annoyed and wanted it and my pore taken care of. She seemed rushed and just peeked down the back of my shirt at the acne. I wasn't even given a second to take my jacket off. She told me to just keep using what I was using and to buy over the counter face wash. She just chalked it up to my IUD causing it and didn't want to investigate it any further or try harder to help me.

Dr. McClain was very thorough during both my appointment and my daughter's appointment. She answered all of my questions and gave me great advice on how to combat my daughter's eczema. She really seems to care about her patients, even working with her staff to fit my daughter in for a quicker appointment. I really appreciate how much knowledge she has and how she conveys that knowledge.
