My husband and I both bought vehicles from this dealership August 2020. The Finance guy told us that we had to buy extended warranty and Gap coverage in order to get approved by the Credit Union. They said the Credit Union required it. After the purchase I asked the credit union and was told that was not true. I reported this to Ford and turned out the Finance Guy and Sales person were running a scam to improve their numbers $$. Both were fired. I currently within the past 4mo.s have had an oil change on my 2014 Lincoln Mks after having it serviced at Surprise Ford regularly. What was discussed between me and the Service manager is he had a print of the last oil change and there was oil seepage and asked if the service advisor brought it to my attention , in which it was never brought to my attention , The only way it was discovered is when my temperature light recently came on and had it checked out by another ASE Certified Technician at local Dealership in town. I bought a 2017 Mustang and had it shipped to my home in Virginia. When it arrived the brake lights and interior lights and turn signal weren’t working even though Surprise Ford inspected it. I had to immediately take it to a local Ford dealership where they had to replace a part covered under my extended warranty. I had to pay a $100 deductible for this which I felt the dealership owed me. After multiple attempts over a couple of days to contact a salesman at Surprise Ford in Surprise, AZ, I finally was referred to Alex L. He worked with me and his General Manager Doug (I never got a last name) in setting a price on a used Lincoln. I was able to get a signed copy of the price agreement by both I and the dealer that same day but being an out of state buyer, all communications were via text, phone, and/or email and thus asynchronous. They yelled at me and essentially made me lease a vehicle under duress and misdirections now I'm in a terrible place financially. I wanted to purchase a truck but I was definitely forced into this situation by shady salesman and financial officer. They kept the keys to my vehicle after they looked it over for potential trade in. Then they didn't even put it towards the lease. I'll end up paying $60-$80k for a $45k f150. Worst dealer that I have ever been to.

2nd time taking my vehicle into Surprise dealership to repair a faulty transmission. First time in January and they replaced a part in transmission. I picked up vehicle and the issue was not resolved. Still hard shift and grinding sound when putting vehicle in park or reverse. I was told the part needed to "break in". Really? Ok, next visit in July for same issue. They replaced motor mounts and told me issue was fixed. Picked up car and still had the same problem. I was told the motor mounts needed to "break in". My truck lasted three weeks. You would think going to a "Ford" "dealership" would instill confidence. Normally, I would agree. But "Surprise Ford" is an insult to the Ford Motor Co brand (I have owned four). Do not buy from this dealership. They show no pride in their products, they do not stand behind their vehicles, or care about their reputation as a dealer. Friday May 24th, my son was looking at trucks and stumbled upon one he knew his dad would love. A beautiful black 2014 F-150. He showed the ad to him and the following morning my husband went to Surprise Ford and looked at the truck. He instantly knew he was in love with it. The sales person Jason wrote up a deal that worked and told him with his credit score he could get him financed. Less than an hour later he had a contract signed and sealed the deal with a handshake. Surprise Ford is by far the worst Car dealer I have ever tried to do business with. If I could give them no stars, I would. They recently overcharged me for a repair of my vehicle in their service department, and when I complained; they reluctantly reduced the price by over $100. Had I not said anything, they would have overcharged me; and I just wonder how many other customers have been subjected to their deceptive tactics?
