My wife was seen at the Mercy Medical ER on July 1st, 2017 due to acute abdominal pain and the inability to have a bowel movement for the previous 5 days. They performed a CT scan and told us she had cancer. It was something that I ask them to make an appointment for seeing doctor.. I called them twice I know. But they blocked me somehow the only reason for called them twice. Also people there were very rude. I will not tell my people to go to mercy hospital.
I went to ER, last night, for a possible blood clot in my right leg. I explained to them at the window that I have a history of blood clots and that I had a pulmonary embolism 3 years ago. I sat in the waiting room for 2 and a half hours, never seeing anyone. When my husband went to the window to ask how much longer it would be before they got me back, he was told there was still 5 people ahead of me. Seriously? I thought blood clots were an emergency situation. I will never go back to this ER ever again.
I would say that the staff did everything they could to make my experience as painless and comfortable as possible ! They answered all of my questions so I could understand what was going to happen ! I would recommend Mercy Medical Center to everyone I know !
