RecommendedI absolutely love Surfside kids Dental!! Orthodontist H. Derick Phan is FANTASTIC & so is his staff! My soon to be 20 year old daughter goes there for her braces as she will be getting them off next week. We went today for my other two kiddos but like I said since my 20 year old daughter has already been going there for about a year now, I wouldn’t go anywhere else but to Surfside! Also the atmosphere of the office is phenomenal you will feel like you’re at the beach, you definitely don’t feel nervous when your there.
I drove a little over an hour to bring my kids to this place, and it was worth it. The staff is wonderful and they cared so much about my boys 2 and 4 feeling comfortable. I will bring my kids here for now on.
My son had a very difficult time with something that was very simple. Instead of getting frustrated, the staff encouraged him and spoke kindly to him to help him through his procedure. My mommy's heart loved the care he received! Dr. Golla and Heather were awesome! Thank you!

I highly recommend Surfside Kids! This place provides a comfortable and relaxing environment for kids. Dr. Ray is dedicated, supportive and caring. Hannah and staff are amazing and great with kids.
I recently decided to get braces again, and a trusted friend recommended Surfside to me. I'm so glad I went! Dr. Phan is knowledge and has excellent bedside manner, taking time to answer all of my questions (I had a lot of questions) and putting my mind at ease. His staff is delightful and professional. It's just a wonderful environment. Joel (pictured) always takes great care of me and my braces at my appointments, and is a delight to chat with. I can't recommend this office for dental and orthodontic work enough.
A friend recommended Surfside to me and I am so glad they did! My older daughter has already had phase one braces and her smile lights up a room. My twins are due to start phase one this fall. And I myself am in the process of completing my cycle of braces and double jaw surgery. Dr Phan and his team have been amazing during my very extensive treatment. 4 reasons we love Dr Phan and the Surfside Almaden Valley office: 1. Excellent work and state of art equipment/location. My kids won’t need extractions and my husband no longer has an underbite without needing to saw his jaw. Here are the original pics 2. When your kid randomly breaks a bracket - he takes care of him right away without an appt and never makes him feel bad. 3. You can get a prize after your appt 4. He gives back to the community and coaches at the local schools — with H Derick Phan.
The staff is very friendly! They go above and beyond to make sure my kids love going to the dentist!
