We went to the Friday buffet at 5:50pm on Friday June 23rd. There was a couple who had been standing ahead of of for a while, waiting to be seated. We stood and waited, thinking that a host or hostess would return to their station to seat guests. We counted twelve employees who walked past us over a fifteen minute time period. Every single one of them completely ignored us four, plus the couple in line in front of us. No eye contact, no smile, no greeting, or letting us know that someone would be over to seat us in a moment.... read more

My husband and I were married here 5 yrs ago. Love the view, staff is excelent and the food is amazing. We are excited for the new renovations that are coming with the new owners. They also have a great sauna, hot tub and pool ♡
Surfrider has become one of our favorite places to stay along the central Oregon coast. This time we stayed in building #1 and to our suprise our room was huge with a spare bedroom. The view is amazing. Already planning on booking our next stay.
The food and service was very good. We definitely will be going back.
This place is beautiful! The rooms are nice, the staff is wonderful! A restaurant AND a bar on site, and he view can't be beat! This is now my happy place!!!
Food was excellent service was about average, I'm sure they were tired as we arrived for a late lunch. I had a halibut sandwich, wish the bread would have been toasted. But not bad for the price. Val's open face shrimp sandwich was alright, farm raised shrimp just don't have a lot of flavor. Beautiful view, beautiful day. I will stop here again.
The hotel is amazing, fireplace in the room the jacuzzi tub is to die for, the linens are so plush and fresh and soft on the sun, the bed is so inviting and I slept like a log! The ocean view and sound was so intoxicatingly- you are like 20 feet from the ocean itself!!! Ocean view everywhere you go- the staff are wonderful especially Valerie - she's so helpful!
