We always have a great time at the Surfrider bar! We watch for whales from the bar room and enjoy wonderful drinks and food! Alanna makes killer Manhattans and Katie recommended bangin shrimp which was to die for! Don’t miss this tucked away spot! ❤️ food and drink is great and service is top notch!
This was our first time staying at the hotel. When calling, the girl on the phone was accommodating, we have a disabled dog, but was short & seemed anxious to get off the phone. Kind of annoying. When we got to the hotel, the guy that checked us in was very friendly and polite to us.. took his time to explain all the amenities to us. Our room was great! We brought the hotel Groupon for a clarion hotel depoe bay thinking we got a great deal! After leaving the hotel they printed a received showing normal charge of 84.62 and paid in full. But we paid 135.49 on Groupon then upon looking at our credit card found the Hotel charged 20.00 which was an unauthorized charge thus a total overpayment of 50.87 and no one is willing do anything other than a song a dance to get you off the line. We had a nice room for my elderly parents. They enjoyed the ocean view from The patio and could see my sis and I on the beach. Hot tub and dry sauna were used everyday. Helpful staff . Thank you
Restaurant is under going changes (new menu) and had Christmas Eve dinner at the restaurant. Wish we had ordered Chinese takeout instead of paying almost $70 for 3. Fries were luke warm, toasted buns were cold. There were 2 wait staff for 8 tables when we came in at 5pm and wait staff was very slow from coming back to get our order, to food being delivered to waiting for check.
My wife and I stayed here for our 25th anniversary. The room was very nice, clean, and comfortable. We really enjoyed the gas fireplace, it was very cozy.
The the staff here is so nice. and they all had great customer service. I would highly recommend this place. it's like a small community... hidden gem. 🍷💖😁
Another wonderful holiday stay. beautiful view warm comfortable room and great holiday buffet.
