GBMC has been my primary hospital of choice for personal care for over thirty years I have never EVER had a bad experience with any of the Doctors, Nurses or Custodial service professionals I ran across a small issue with a certified nursing assistant who was going through whatever she was going through during the time I needed services during my stay upon confrontation she recognized she was bringing her personal issues to work and her behavior changed . The Lord sent me an angle in the person of Dr Jos God sent him to Bon Secours Hospital to Operate and remove my Gallbladder, it was a life changing experience for Mary Tillman I had no pains after the surgery praise the Lord.
Outrageous waits in the ER with very poor triage. We used to love GBMC and always sang its praises but we had to bring a friend here from out of town and we were mortified and the number of people who had been waiting more than 6 hours and were crying in terrible pain. When I asked if I could help, and tried to ask the receptionist, he simply said she would be seen. After one round of triage questions 3 hours into our wait, no one was taken into a room. Serious time to look at process improvement!
I can not believe how long you have to sit in the ER to be seen. Like a friend of mine said if you want to be seen quick drop to the floor and complain of chest pains. A cancer patient having to wait in the ER for OVER 4.5 hours is ridiculous. Never again
ER wait time is horrible. Stuck me in a storage closet. What's up with the IV first thing. No pillow or blankets.
I love GBMC it's the best HOSPITAL!!!!! IT'S THE #1 HOSPITAL :)
These people were polite and very attentive even when I was having another stroke in my bed they came in and rushed my attention. They did not wait for me to be almost dead like some hospitals. My hats off to these wonderful carring people you cant even appologize for being a bother they get offended if you do. My kind of hospital I sent in a donation but would not use my name and address for fear they would send it back. L. Chriscoe

Staff, from Doctor throughout the entire Staff. I found the experience very personal, caring, and rather refreshing. Staff throughout-food-cleaning-comfort survey visitors. Thanks to ER, ICU, and the CardioVascular units !
