My appointment was set for 8:00, so I arrived at 7:45, but apparently the doctor doesn't come in until 8:30. I realize it is not just GBMC (where I have had a fair share of appointments and procedures.) The entire medical community today feels their time is more valuable than ours. They play games like what I'm dealing with today, or schedule appointments so close together that everyone is pushed back all day. And worse, doctors don't even think for themselves anymore! Great care except for $550.00 dollar bill for ten pills n two starter inhailers . according to the hospital "I self medicated" really...so if a nurse give u a pill your self medicating. Great doctors n nursing staff but their billing tactics are sneaky.

This is my 4th stay here, the nurses, doctors & other staff are just wonderful. All staff are friendly, personable, helpful & extremely knowledgeable in their jobs.The food is actually restaurant quality. The experience is more in line with a stay at good hotel. Private rooms with their own full bathrooms, cable, climate control & phones. Sleeper chairs if you have a loved one that wishes to stay over. It's a truly healing experience.
Came to GBMC with daughter and grandbaby to have his tongue cut. Everything was done professionally and clean. Didn't have a long wait. The doctor explained everything to us and let us know what to expect. And he was right, we saw the difference before we left. Good experience and will come again.
