As a professional Bellydance or I of course am attracted to anything with beautiful Arabic interiors. This place does not disappoint. It has all the beauty and charm of Café La Maude in Northern liberties with the unique Arabic twist that just has not happened in Philly yet. I cannot wait for the restaurant to open! Their pastries were on point and the treats and gifts in the market look great :-)
So the owners of my fav brunch place from sun Cafe La Maude, helped co open a new place Suraya! Market and Cafe opened Tuesday and restaurant opens in January! Check out their page for the most beautiful decor I’ve ever seen and quality foods (like the Lebanese chai latte below topped with pistachio (not to mention the beautiful Turkish mug)!)
