Wow...the best thread ever. Took a class just on threads and needles and learned so much. Love Bottom Line and Glitter and did the most beautiful machine quikting on a small quilt. Real trick is to invest in the thread holder because it makes the thread delivery perfect. I will continue to use this thread. Company is great to deal with and always willing to help. Class act
Ordered the metallic embroidery thread and it is the only brand I've used without becoming frustrated. It does not break or shed. The automatic needle threader also will thread the needle unlike other brands. And the bonus it came in a box with a "merry Christmas " Label! (Unlike all the happy holiday cards).
I just tried Superiors Nite Lite thread and I can not begin to explain the troubles I had. The thread would not come off the spool tithout twisting and turning. I did everything I could to eliminate this by using different needles putting it further away, using net, etc. After more than 20 thread breakages and 3 broken needles,I had to resort to hand feeding the thread through. the thread was twisting in the chamber. Silver bottom line is a great product for paper piecing.
I just tried the new Microquilter brand with my Statler Stitcher and I am loving it. I found it at the MQX show in Springfield, IL. heard it was being introduced, so I bought just one. Finally got a chance to try it and I love love love it for microstippling. Have just placed an order for more. I bet it is a great bobbin thread too.
I LOVE the Glitter Hologram thread. I have used it on several different fabrics and for several different projects. It works as well or better than the polyester thread I use for machine embroidery. I use it for machine embroidery frequently. I am able to use the regular embroidery machine needles and it does not break or fray. The only time I ever have a breakage is when stitches are too dense - such as a small bird eye or other concentrated stitches. I run a small sewing and embroidery business where my mother and I do all the sewing, this means that my time is very valuable to me. Since I starting using your thread a few months ago I have not had one breakage. I use So Fine #50 for my general sewing and as bobbin thread when I am embroidering. I use Magnifico for my embroidery thread. I just want to say thank you for making such a high quality product. I look forward to trying other threads in the future.
