Specialties We are a heated vinyasa studio specializing in power yoga. Most of our teachers have backgrounds in medicine or sports rehab and have trained with Baron Baptiste. History Established in 2011. Iowa Powered Yoga was started through the passion of charity after Ryan Esdohr the founder created Des Moines Yoga Bash, a yoga event where all proceeds go to charity. Shortly after Iowa Powered Yoga was born. The power(ED) because it is though the people of Iowa that fuels the energy of the studio.

I highly recommend Matt. Not only was he insightful about my problem but also very knowledgeable in explaining the muscles & why it happened & developed a treatment plan. I had lt. shoulder pain & had pain laying on my left side along with raising my lt. arm as high as my right. After 1 treatment I was able to lay on my left side with minimal discomfort & raise both arms at same level. Thanks for showing me how to do the sleeper stretch, foam roller & videos to help improve my mobility. I can't wait for the next session!
This is the real deal. Ryan does great work and is one of the most brilliant people I have ever met. He's all about helping you get better. Give his website a look. He's got great advice for all of us and some things we can do at home on our own. If your able to get down to see him it's well worth your time and health.
I suffer from Rhuematoid arthritis which has effected my spine severely. I live in pain and limited mobility in all my joints. After 2 treatment I have a huge amount of my mobility returned. We have lots of work ahead but I'm excited to walk this journey with him. The excitement he has to help me is motivating to me. Antoinette Garwood.
Matt is incredibly intuitive, patient, knowledgeable, and talented in what he does. I would recommend him to ANYONE wanting to take their body to the "next level!" This type of person doesn't come around very often. I would give him a 10 out of five stars if I could! Get an appointment with him SOON because once the word is out...he may be booked out for months in advance!
Ryan did an excellent job working on my back. He is extremely knowledgable and great at what he does.
Love!!!!! My shoulder has not felt this good in over a year!!!
