Specialties We are a heated vinyasa studio specializing in power yoga. Most of our teachers have backgrounds in medicine or sports rehab and have trained with Baron Baptiste. History Established in 2011. Iowa Powered Yoga was started through the passion of charity after Ryan Esdohr the founder created Des Moines Yoga Bash, a yoga event where all proceeds go to charity. Shortly after Iowa Powered Yoga was born. The power(ED) because it is though the people of Iowa that fuels the energy of the studio.

When I met Matt, I could not reach my arms in front of me, negotiating stairs was difficult and Ispent a good deal of my life in a sedentary position. Matt knew how to encourage and motivate me. I had my first taste of what this place is all about yesterday. It exceeded my expectations. Matt careful way of listening to exactly what the body is asking for does seem to be "superhuman" indeed. I can't wait for my next experience.
Who doesn't want to be a Superhuman?! Ryan is great, really knows his stuff and is uber passionate about his craft and helping others do amazing things.
