On March 31, 2021 I purchased a car wash at the new Super Star Car Wash (SSCW) in Apache Junction. I was about to make my purchase at the kiosk entrance when an attendant told me that the wash I was about to purchase was offered at a promotional rate of $5 rather than the posted amount of $14.95 on that day. He swiped my card and I proceeded through the car wash. On April 28, 2021 I was very surprised to discover that SSCW charged my VISA card $14.95 at 02:56 AM. I would like to pose a complaint about the false advertisement, the text I received stated ALL UNLIMITED PLANS .01 for the first month, however when I went to the store on 99th Ave I was informed that it is only for express wash, however, my issue is the advertisement does not specify EXPRESS ONLY, it states ALL UNLIMITED, now I remember why I stopped being a customer of yours nearly 5 years ago. If they damage your vehicle, they will refuse to pay for it. Their machine ripped off my driver's side mirror. I filed a claim there on the spot,...we took photos. A couple days later they called me and admitted they had video showing me entering the wash with the mirror intact and leaving with it missing. They then gave me a twisted logic of supposed reasoning as to why they would not pay for it,...but essentially it breaks down to them gambling that because it was less that $100, they believe I will just let them screw me ... read more
I am very concerned that this company does not complete thorough backgrounds on “managers” they have felons with theft and fraud charges handling customers credit card and billing information. This has been going on for almost 2 years with Steven handling a few past properties not only One but every single new one that opens. Not sure what this really says about the company but definitely something to consider before handing off your credit card. It appears that the person leaving this review is a past friend or employee of Steven looking to make Steven look bad. Super Star Car Wash does perform background checks on all Managers and our employees do not have access to full Credit Card information. Our employees only see the credit card during the transaction and only handle it when asked to for help by the customer. Once the credit card is swiped and returned to the customer, we can only see the last 4 digits of the credit card. Steven has performed well in his dutie... read more
