Great place. Dennis is a great guy. Very good instructor. He is an educator by trade and it pays off with this class. Hands down the best price in the area. Any poor reviews are either competitors or have the wrong page.
I have been diving for 30 plus years and was a former NAUI Assistant Instructor. Wanted to get my son, age 12, certified so signed him up at Super Sports & SCUBA. Was not sure about the format of doing all the classroom work in one day followed by a weekend of pool work and check out dives but I am very happy with the results, and so is my son. Dennis did a great job considering the wide range of students and every thing went very smoothly. Hope to get my daughter convinced to give it a try so will hopefully use S3 again soo... read more
Dennis is a great instructor . He really enjoys teaching people to dive. I had a blast diving with him and would recommend him to anybody wanting to dive
Dennis is a great calm instructor, you will learn lifesaving skills in a controlled environment. I have been on several dives with him starting with my open water certification, then my nitrox certification, and most recently i finished my advanced certification ALL with Dennis. The only time i have ever seen a problem is when a new student is not paying attention and did something stupid. He had to save them. The student got embarrassed and blamed everyone else. Dennis and his crew were great! They were very patient with the class. I can't imagine a more knowledgeable instructor. He truly cares that you learn all the necessary skills for the open water cert. The price is great and best deal I could find. Highly recommend him. Also has great deals on on personal gear! See you soon for the advanced cert. Dennis!
Dennis was a great instructor. I missed the first day of dives for my certification due to work. He helped the rest of the class with their dives and then helped me out with catching up. He knows and conveys his classes well. Very personable with the students giving great examples of both what to do and what not to do while diving.
