The owner, Barbara Sheele cheated our family out of money. Sunstar improperly installed our unit. Finally, we contacted a different company to correct the problem Sunstar Heating and Aire created.
Sunstar Heating & Aire and Barb Sheele are an excellent example of a brutally broken business. Just an outright sham. We are an older couple in our 80’s and we’re not very good on the computer nor the internet. We finally got around to find the federal liens and various complaints against this company. We had an extremely negative experience with Sunstar Heating & Aire. My wife and I expected service performed for an average cost. The work performed by their technicians was done wrong. Their team is Second to All. The Sunstar Heating & Aire employees are terrible. Providing customers with top notch service is not their priority. Sunstar Heating & Aire is not a winning team. I am David Kreitor. We had the misfortune to request Sunstar Heating and Aire to repair our air conditioning machine. I am in the process of bringing legal notification to the owner Barbara Sheele. The inept actions by this company have been documented by Howard Air and George Brazil Company. Please get several quotes/bids prior to authorizing this company to do anything to your property.
Unfortunately, Sunstar Heating & Aire provided a substandard level of service. Apparently, they improperly connected an electrical wire to the wrong place, damaging our unit. They were only several minutes late each visit. Finally, we had a different company assist us and everything went fine. With two small children and a pet, we obviously need reliable air-conditioning service. Sunstar Heating & Aire failed to provide that. Sunstar is a great company. I am not sure what all these reviews are about but my understanding is that they have resolved or tried to resolve every issue ever presented to them, the have no BBB rating which indicates nothing has ever not been unresolved. One person is repeatedly reporting things that had issues with a "son" who has not worked for this company for over 8 years. The first indication of trouble with Barbara Sheele and Sunstar Heating Aire was a semi-hostile greeting. We always felt uncomfortable and intimidated by Barb Sheele. Her anxious first question was about how she would be paid. Not, what’s wrong, how can she help, etc. Finally, when they did show up, they were one hour late.
The extremely poor experience we had with Barbara Sheele is only surpassed by the frustrating low-quality service Sunstar Heating & Aire provided. We would NOT advise anyone to use this company. After realizing our mistake, we finally called George Brazil. They fixed all of the problems Barbara Sheele and Sunstar Heating and Aire created. It's really depressing to have to deal with this. See the dent on our unit they provided "free" of charge. This was next to a pile of trash they also left for us to clean up.
